With Bentley's 100th anniversary coming up next year, the Mulliner division is celebrating its founder with a special edition of Mulsanne. It pays homage to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley and includes a portion of one of his cars.
The special model which is available on a regular or long-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed was influenced by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. The 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. bentley key can be seen throughout the cabin and even a Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet, which has a display window with a slice of the original crankshaft of the 8 Litre display inside.
Other highlights include a chrome application that runs backwards along the side of the vehicle, with an air vent with a photoetched B shape that incorporates W.O. his signature front grille that's modeled after the 1930s-appropriate Onyx color of the limited edition, and a chrome-colored application that wraps around the lower spoilers left and right. The front grille is also a distinctive design, with an aluminum shell that replaces the body-color mesh of Mulsanne. It also includes the Flying B Logo.
A key box engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and has a black flock lining. individual key pouches are available to match or contrast with the key box. The set commemorative includes a 1:18 scale model and an air-borne "B" paperweight. It also includes a printed booklet featuring never-before seen images of the original 1930s Bentley 8 Litre.

The knurling made of metal to metal on the key fob mimics textures found in the interior, including the temperature controls for the seat and the shift knob. "We wanted the knurling to be as elegant and consistent as possible," says Van Braekel. It was important to keep the size and shape of fob consistent.
Bentley Mulliner customers can specify any color in the Bentley portfolio for their Bacalar as well as any combination of hides, veneers and custom embroidery. Almost 400,000 stitches deliver Bentley's signature diamond-in-diamond quilting across its entire cabin. In addition, the mood lighting can be altered to suit different moods.
Outside illuminated treadplates, clocks with brushed silver are available as standard, while new 22in wheels come with self-levelling Bentley logos. Customers can also get their own custom Bentley logo laser-etched on the rear fixing, as a nod to the 1930 8 Litre W.O. Edition that was the inspiration for the car.
